Every story has a place. Google Earth is a powerful storytelling telling tool allowing students to explore their world while creating and/or deepening their understanding of storytelling. This workshop will begin with an overview of Google Earth; discovering its built in tools plus tips and tricks. Participants will then learn how to create their own story using Google Earth/Geo tools. In addition, attendees will be given Google Earth examples that will help engage classroom discussions across varying content areas and age groups. All tech, content, grade levels are welcome to come play. To take full advantage of this workshop, a laptop/Chromebook with Google Chrome is recommended.
